These are the main areas I specialize in.

Preparation for a life-partnership

When entering marriage or a long-term committed relationship, we bring a set of unconscious beliefs, expectations, and buried trauma that deeply affects how we approach the other person. Looking at our shadow self honestly is a crucial step in healing and growth. It is essential in the process of becoming a mature, grounded person who is able to enter into a mutually supportive, long-term relationship. Much of the conflict in relationships stems from unresolved trauma where we unconsciously expect the other person to heal us, or to fulfill unmet needs from our childhood. These unmet needs prevent us from seeing our partner as a full human being with their own unique gifts, challenges, and vulnerabilities.

Assessing whether a potential partner is a good fit

Beyond evaluating a partner through a series of checklists, I believe it is important to consider our intuitive body’s reaction to being around them and when thinking of a long-term future together. How do you feel around this person? Does your nervous system relax or do you feel the need to “strive” and put on a performance? Are you both looking towards the same direction in life? Our bodies are often wiser than our minds, and we have the ability to intuitively feel whether or not someone is a good match for us.

Strengthening connection with your children

Raising children often brings out ancestral trauma - deep hurts and unhealthy patterns from our lineage. It also brings up the conditioning we inherited from our own parents. How we interact with our children is a good mirror for how we really feel about ourselves. There is a Chinese saying, “Children are our insides coming out.” For these reasons, parenting can be very challenging, but also offers the opportunity for deep healing of family energetic patterns.

Improving health through a diet of whole foods.

As a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I have studied all the major dietary theories, and use that as a foundation to find the unique diet and lifestyle that works best for you. There is no "one-size-fits-all" diet. However there are fundamentals that hold true for everyone - center your diet on whole, unprocessed foods; keep your blood sugar steady; and don't stray too far from what your ancestors ate.

So many modern illnesses are really symptoms of undernutrition. Changing the way we eat can drastically improve our mood, our energy, and our quality of life.
